Algebra 101

Class, today we’re gonna do algebra.

Scenario:
A mother is 21 years older than her child.
In exactly 6 years from now, the mother will be exactly 5 times as old as the child.

Question: Where’s the father?

Hint: Let mother be M. Child be C.

C+21 = M.

(C+6)5 = M+6

Solve C.

Solution (I know you didn’t even try you lazy bugger.) :

C= -3/4 years = -9 months i.e. baby born in 9 months!

Answer to question: Father is on top of the mother. -_-
